Just for interests sake, I would love to hear a Maiden album produced by someone who takes a looooong time to get thing perfect, and puts in all sorts of subtle sounds in there. I am not convinced it would suit Maidens raw style, but I think it would be really interesting to hear. Metallica nearly fired Rock on the Black album because recording was such a long labourious process, but they were so glad they didnt when they heard the result. Anyone else think that could be interesting>?

@Xiolablu3 The Black Album is a really weak album, in my opinion. Hard to get through, boring, wayyy too slick, and just generally... an album for the masses. Metallica before this, was definitely not a band for the masses, and that's why I think it took so long. They were commercializing Metallica.
