Luv the "Oregon" t-shirt. We've got literally thousands of galleries in a state that only holds about 3 million people as well. As a video artist I am not sure that making the claim that, "I can't really make abstract shapes with video" is true. I suppose if she is referring to the idea that video is often a rectangle and thus a defined shape then it is true. However it ignores a significant sum of video art with that rather sweeping statement.
