Just happened to run across your video. It would help your viewers if you primarily had a close up of the neck and just played the lick at a slow tempo with about 50% less talk. I think everyone would pick up on it quicker. Playing lead is 90% visual anyway.................just a suggestion.

Thank for the lesson man, but, it doesn´t help much if you´re a shitty guitar player like myself. You got to rmember how you used to suck, and how hard it was to uderstand this stuff when you can´t get to see what´s happening on the guitar. I don´t think ur a bad teacher, but a different aproach will give us the chance to learn faster, like the ones in other videos at the same channel. Thank you very much for the effort though!

I think the reason that people are complaining is that they are looking to learn how to play the song, information on chromatic scales, while interesting, is irrelevant to playing the song, it is relevant if you want to understand it, but most just want to play it. Basically explaining chromatic scales, pentatonics, etc is confusing to someone who isn't studying music

For one, I heavily doubt that. Everyone says they learn it by ear.

In order to properly learn by ear, you have to understand Keys and scales. The Pentatonic scale is the absolute MOST COMMON SCALE in rock music.

At least admit, if you even know how to play guitar, that you looked at a tab.

it took long, but i just "found" the scale thingy. i promise. i learned it by ear. i even found a version of the first riff in the first and second fret.

i know only ONE scale. and thats a scale i learned a year ago, when i started guitar. the pentatonic scale at the 5 - 8th fret

you can believe what you will, but i know - i learned it by ear. i looked at a tab AFTER i knew the song, to assure that it was right. and it was :)
