I use a Sanyo VPC-FH1, which is a fantastic HD camcorder for a surprisingly good price. It shoots video at 1080p60 unlike many other cameras out there (which makes it *great* for DDR vids).

@ddrcoder Just because it can "shoot" in 1080p, doesn't mean it's lens and capture eye is made for 1080p. That's the problem with most phones today. They have an 800x600 camera lenses promising to take pictures up to 8 mega pixels.

Actually... I've been wearing a heart rate monitor while I play, I've broken 200 a lot. The same with the others I've made wear the heart rate monitor. Rynker hit 211 as his max HR during a Dragonforce song, and WinDEU got up to 209 playing Bemera CZ.

Microphone won't pick up much.... but an EKG will, and I happen to have one of those around here somewhere.

It's really basic, but I once hooked it up to myself and played some 1:1 Gears of War with my pulse thumping on the subwoofer. It was amazing. :)

I could probably set up the same for this, but I'd want to isolate the noise from the player.
