brother i wish something like that would happen, but how could we while we are under american and european sancations that prevent us from buying this kind of new airpcrafts.

plus sudan air will not be able to run them even if it had the money due to lack of inferstructre, skiiled labour, pilots and engineers.

yes brother its a political issue not particually set up by UN but by thoes in charge in US & Euro. i like your optimistic comments. Me too i would love to have a modernised aircraft system in sudan not only that but also a capable road and traffic authorities, overall coruppt free country.

regarding aviation i am hopeful that we will see big changes after the completion of the New Khartoum Airport.

sudanese piolt r very good .. but i never heard this noise in landing ..

It is directly in front of the engines, which go into reverse thrust when it lands.  This is always very noisy!

I remember when i was a kid it used to be pitch black over khartoum and the only lights you would see were the ones on the airport runway, how times have changed.
