They should quit the Warner Bros but....what about their millionaire contract? not anymore an alternative band but a popular one. By the way songs are not so bad.

this is crazy. the car is the ugliest i've ever seen. and you should look at the piece of shit i drive. it's like a ferrari compared to this ugly ass car

also i mean whatever the chili peppers wanna do with their songs im fine with i'll love them no matter what (aah how sweet of me innit?) but this just doesn't match the commercial at all

@zeverus22 They sold there music to car company to try and sell there cars, they are slipping dangerously into alot of other bands, if you offer them enogh money they sell anything.Never thought i'd see the chili's do that.Maybe that's why i'm more disappointed.

anyway, the reason i listen to the chilis isn't because they aren't commercial, i listen to them because i like their music what's the problem if they want to gain a little more money?

@zeverus22 I think the problem is linking there music to a product, because insteading creating your own personal imagery it forces one on to you.Thats why the people who make the commercials use popular music.For me music should be pure and above such thing, leave it to Maroon 5 or Bon jovi to sell there music, they have no soul anyway.Also,don't they have enough money.Is it worth selling a bit of there soul that they can never get back.John would not have allowed it.

@zeverus22 Not at all, it wasn't a suprise to me when he left.It seemed quite a natural departure, with Josh already being there.It has worked out for the band(musically).I really like the new album and they are still shit hot live, the rest of the band seem to be enlivened by the change.My point from the start was that the music should be pure, untainted by association with crass everyday objects(such as cars or other products), so that the individual images that flow differently into....

@sharallabad9 I rememember the Nascar commercial using Dani California John would of allowed stop acting like John is god nobody likes being called god. They could be putting the money from the commercial to Silverlake.
