This is not a real test. this is abolutly useless. Why? because you can't compare 2 software if not on same hardware. That would be like testing Word on a windows 98 with a 400mhz cpu and on the other hand a I7 with Windows7 . To compare garmin vs tomtom you have to get 2 identical PDA or notebook with the SAME gps receiver and only then you can test Navigator ( tomtom) vs Garmin software, otherwise it's non sense.

Man get some knowledge! GPS means software + Hardware. you never can test same GPS software in 2 different hardware systems!

GPs means global positionning system it doesnt mean " portable device that can help you go home ". first. Second: Of course you can test the same software!! the software used by tomtom is navigator you can get a windows compiled version, and then you can test it on different hardware! this is what I meant here: no scientific test : no conclusion can be made.
