I have 2 x ati radeon 4870. but i want 2 x ati radeon 4870x2. I have 750 watts of power. Can is just remove the 4870 and replace it with 4870x2 Or do i need some extra things in order to install it properly? HELP PLEASE :(

@Thekilldevilhill: That's because the heatsinks are packed with dust... I took the card apart a day ago because it idled @ 70-80°C with the fan at 50%.. now it's about 39°C with 50% fan... runs like a charm again.

It's just bad design really...

I canceled my order of this puppy going with the XFX HD4890 Black Edition instead. I'm using a 22" screen (and a E8600 @ 4,2GHz) so I figured I this card would suffice for that screen size (1680x1050) and my CPU , so far I'm pleased with the card and I take it you happy with your X2 card too mate, the performance must be just sweeet!! oh, great case too hehe, I have the lill brother ThreeHundred.

You can't have 4 GTX 295s on a single motherboard. You can only run 2 in SLI which gives you Quad SLI since they are dual GPU cards. No such thing as Octo-SLI... Yet...

The X58 Classified motherboard has 4 PCI-e x16 2.0 support slots that would fit them fine just so u no :) i no u cant run 4 GTX 295s or ATI 4870x2 because there dual GPUs but i wanted to no if u could run 2 of each in a single motherboard using crossfire and SLI since they both support quad GPU each. and just so u no the motherboard also has SLI and crossfire support so u dont ask me bout that lol.

Yes and No. two 4870s together is crossfire, two GPUs (Graphics Processing Units) using two PCIe slots. One 4870x2 has two GPUs using one slot, so two 4870x2s = 4 GPUs using two slots.
