Personally I thought it was funny how the reporters just keep getting uglier, and then they showed the mutated guy. Also, the English poke fun at Americans more than anyone by far so its good to see them get burned every once in a while :P.

This is actually very funny. Some BBC anchors and reporters do look comical. MadTV exaggerates it just a little bit. The peculiar phrases of any version of English like "malarkey", "wackabout" etc. are always funny to those who don't speak that version of English.

If you have been watching Mad TV for a long time you will have noticed that they did indeed get progressively worse. I thought this skit was actually funnier than some of the ones they have on there.

I don't think it's the actors...I think it's more to do with the writers. Who knows. It seems like the skits are personal jokes that no one else gets.

Oh well, hopefully it will pick up.

I was watching this Saturday's MADTV episode and there was a female news anchor. Who made stupid jokes about politics and the whole sketch was about American Politics. All the cast members who were talented in their craft and delivered humorous jokes have either left or MADTV got rid of them. Saturday Night Live used to be lame but it's gotten funny recently. This skit was really not funny.

In seasons passed, I LOVED MAD TV! The cast was great and the sketches were hilarious. In my opinion, the best seasons were 4-9. After Mo Collins left, Mad TV went waaaaaaaaayyyyyy downhill. Now that Michael is gone, I will be VERY surprised if the show manages to last a full season.
