  • LEASE THE FUKIN BATTERY? HOW JWEISH

  • put it into the equivalent of drive mode and step on the gas and...ahh wait a minute

  • Can you imagine trying to make a cross-country trip in this car?

  • @shysterlicious Depends on the country. it would be no problem in Belgium.

  • @Napoleon501ste Good point.

  • at the very least, leasing packs should be optional...

  • why don't they put solar proof? that won't hurt, I am willing to pay couple grands for that.

  • looks pretty futuristic

  • no one should ever 'lease' anything.

  • i love they idea. but i hate the front end of the thing.

and the guy voicing the video has this annoying tendency to make this weird click when he opens his mouth to speak after he pauses. sorry, just a pet peeve.

  • PLEASE LET ME BUY MY OWN BATTERY!!!!

And not from EXXON MOBIL & CHEVRON. I'm allergic to cartels and monopolies. They cause poverty, economic collapse and the worst thing for them, peasant whining.

  • LEASE THE BATTERY!!!!????

Whatever perpetuates the energy industries unquestionable control and Massive income. If they can't extort our hard earned money with Gasoline, then they could always Monopolize Battery power and ultimately perpetuate their strangle hold and control over us. Right?

Heaven forbid we Exclude them from our daily travel expenditures.

  • @VRJensen1 I see your point, and it's a valid one. The fact is that EV's have no infrastructure to build on, at least not in the quantities that would be necessary to push us all into an EV. Not to mention that as good as the range the Leaf offers? There are few people that are not keen on the idea of charging. Perhaps an infrastructure around swapping charged batters rather than charging at "every" stop might be the answer, plus bring down costs on owning the car. Just my 2 pennies.

  • Good job Kelly, very informative narrative, simple and to the point. The LEAF is an interesting proposition and looks like a viable alternative for just about anyone.

  • FANTASTIC

  • I love the technology in there!!!

  • SOLAR POWER + ELECTRIC CARS = FREEDOM !

  • Well they finally did it right. Leasing the batteries makes tons of sense I'm sure this will be popular in Japan first since they pay twice as much for gas as the U.S.
