@dr4Danimals Yes, that WAS our beautiful Cayuga Duck - Miracle. I have lots of vids of him on my channel. Unfortunately, one night he was attacked and killed by a very nasty raccoon.
@Aquabelly Hi, Hubby drilled holes into bottom of the container where he wanted the branches to be. Then he used long screws with washers to screw through the container into the ends of the branches. Hope that helps
@dalsch Hello! Uh, I have a few questions about my outdoor aviary I might be making. First of all, I`m thinking of putting a small tree (well, one that touches the top, or goes through, the... top. Yeah, so, do you think that would work? I think budgies would love that. :D
@neil1c2000 good luck sounds great. But I would not have it go thru the top - they would probably just always escape. It might make it harder to clean if the tree is too big for the aviary. Gotta clean that poop - daily. You can get a real bad pneumonia from bird poo that is left to dry. It dries, turns to dust, and then when they flap their wings or some wind blows the dust goes in the air and you can get VERY sick with that. Take care.
haha thats cute. i love how you said "im king of the world!" haha. i think you should've ned the baby Plum instead of Sugar-Plum, because dont you already have a cockatiel named Sugar? anyway, i LOVE your videos! xx
well, I keep their wings clipped so they can't gain height. I also make sure that there are no open doors. They stay mostly on the screened in patio.
I did have a bird, Boomer, a long time ago. Didn't keep up with his wing clipping and he flew away. But about 6 months later came back.

How did you get the branches to stay upright? Did you use a non toxic glue?
