This video is misleading. It compares a real income gap between men and women that is due primarily to job choices, but the video implies that employers are paying women less for the same job. If that were the case, women would be hired over men if employers were able to pay women less for the same job.

All of those figures also reflect that men make a greater financial contribution to the household.

According to the US Dept of Labor, the #1 reason women make less money is due to their choice of a part-time job. I'm surprised that the spread is only ~20%.

So, what is the fight about if the pay gap is due to female choice?

We men should demand much higher pay for women so that we men can stay home and let the ladies bring home the bacon. That is my plan, I expect my wife's income to be enough so that I can retire at age 54. You go girls.

@riceburnagtv I have never been paid more than a women in the same postion as me. The way in which they get these stats is never mentioned which shows they are being dishonest. It's rediculous.

I hope you girls do good! I'm just sad for the boys in American culture.... It's not doing them too much good. :(

I'm glad we're bringing equality up, but we really need to oust those "boys are stupid" shirts... Yeah, boys are already behind girls, let's bring it level and kill the cultural "sex sells" stuff.
