OMG! This almost hurts to watch! I was there too, and my old boyfriend's band, The Black Athletes (from SF) was the first opener. Afterwards, there was a full on riot from the parking lot to the street, bottles were flying everywhere and the cops coming..my gal friend and I just jumped in some strangers' car and got a ride to Hollywood. Oh yeah, and the show was great, but not as good as Flowers of Romance tour, 1982 xxxxx

i saw them in 83 (i think). They did most of the gig in darkness with the audience in full light, Fucking genius.

They got really upset because all the dopey punks were spitting at them.....happy days
