@MOTODESIGN09 Currently they are 2.4l V8 n/a engines, dropping down to 1.6l V8 turbocharged won't make much of a performance difference, if any. There would be less corner exit speed, but better mid-high range power, and hopefully more engine blow ups if they can play with the boost in the cockpit. You'll just lose the high revving noise, but visually it will be very much the same as always.

You forgot to mention that DTM rules are being alinged with SuperGT and Aussie V8s. FF1600... is that a Van Diemen chassis? Ford cannot be behind the entire package. Don't laugh at F1. 1.5L Turbo = 1400HP in 1984. The new 911 is a fat, fast beast. Abt will be running the next Audi Le Mans project, Joest will take over Porsche's assault and who know about Bentley. @phantomloita they are designed that way so the young drivers have to think how to tackle a corner at speed with only "mechanical grip" its just the learning curve most young drivers go through. when they have more experience they move on to the faster cars that have the wings ans slicks because now they have moved on to a more advanced car and now need to take in more knowledge, theres allot into car setup that what you think, Leo even knows this, with his experience.

One more thing on Audi/Porsche/Bentley. Audi has it's Diesel tech, Porsche will probably have it's Hybrid tech, what will Bentley bring to the table? Will they just stick with regular non-hybrid petrol? This could seriously put pressure on the ACO to tighten up the petrol vs diesel performance.

If Alfa built the 4C to compete with the Lotus Elise then it'll just be a private track day car.

I would love to see it homologated for GT4 but FIAT already races the Maserati GranTurismo in that series, however, it just might be light enough to qualify for the Supersport category alongside cars like the X-Bow.

Bentley would work in Le Mans but personally, I'd like to see VW field a Bugatti Racing Team.

Lambo doesn't need to race; they're already so baddass they use tiger blood as lubricant.

fuck the 1.6l V6. Its Formula 1, the (supposedly) highest tier of open wheel racing. Its already been proved that when the new tyres degrade, lap times drop to around F3 pace. Its not a good move, in my opinion factors such as environmentalism shouldnt inhibit the development of auto racing .
