If I remember correctly it was both Marcus and Kayla that persuaded him to ask Jack. Steve was going to ask Marcus first but Marcus told him that he should ask Jack since he was his brother then after Kayla talked with Jack at the hospital and he persuaded her to remarry Steve, Kayla talked to Steve and told him that she really thought Jack was changing and that he was trying to help them.
I can't remember...Before Steve made the decision to ask Jack to be his best man, did Kayla encourage him to do it? And if so, do you have that scene?

As far as I can tell, no, there is no scene like that. If it exists, it's not on the DVDs I have. So it's nice that they give us this scene.
