Same story here. My powerbook has had dead pixels for the last 2 years. Recently up to 41. Now there's some 'dead quadrant' on the screen that has made me look into fixing it or finally getting a new macbook pro. It worries me how delicate these screens are.
I have one, at the moment with 8 vertical lines. Apple doesn´t take responsability. I was a mac user untill this happened and they didn´t care. Will buy a new one, but not from apple, this is for shure.
who knows how to fix this?
