I realy regret loaning someone a beautiful cd ( A parcel of Rogues ) never to be returned and sadly no longer available.
While in Edinburgh I tried hard to find what I wanted, I asked an assistant in a music store to help me....re Barbara Dickson.....Who ? she said !......Boy was I angry ! lol.....but Barbara has outlasted all the POP Bimbo's and will continue to do so.

I know he is a counter tenor and know what he is singing. You should understand what I mean is Dickson has no technique and no expression. I dont need another countertenor to compare.

This is a traditional song sung by a singer of traditional songs. The cultural context is central . A classically trained singer will approach this song in a very different way. One may like one or the other or both. But a direct comparison is nonsense.

possibly the best song on her latest album (time and tide). her voice has matured over the years and she remains one of the best - and most under-rated singers the uk has produced

Deller was a counter tenor. Made his mark singing baroque music and music by people like Benjamin Britten! So no, its not comparable you numpty head!
