  • very nice version and i like the vocal improvisation at 2:48 :)

  • ave j adore

c est une tres belle appropriation de cette musique

  • Oh how I wish I had your talent. My music teacher is on me for not playing my best, I am trying my best thought. :/

  • So beautifully done! Thank you for sharing...

  • You totally meant to hit E natural at 4:47. I'm calling you out, lol.

    j/k loved it.

  • I absolutely love the timbre of yoru lower register; it sounds exactly like a (string) bass, and that's incredibly difficult to achieve. :D

  • very nice man

  • I'm liking this a lot and keep coming back to hear it again... there is so much invention and creativity hear... very very good.

  • Simple, efficace, bonne technique, bonne mélodie ! Génial !

  • RESPECT! I like your dynamics and overall taste (as in coffee with royal cognacs)

  • Uao, bravissimo. Che stile. ★★★★★

  • Excellent! Wish I could play like that.

  • I really cant see why it is called caravan... no offence but, shouldnt caravans be more... swallowtail rig like? or am I thinking of a canival? O.o I'm to comfused

  • @Dafurugufilms It's based on a Duke Ellington song called Caravan.

  • Une inspiration de Petrucciani, non ?

  • no, I saw that hands differred. suntan is not the same. it is damage to cheat...

  • Nice, relaxed feel. Smooth improvs. My son constantly does that to me too (4-yrs-old).

I am wild about W. Marsalis classic version of Caravan. I forget who plays piano, but it's brilliant. I'm trying to figure out some of his comps on the piano...

    Bob Mazzo

  • What is wrong with a Kawai? Dude! Acknowledge the music and don't be a piano snob in these economic times. Well done Mr theimprovisor. You got mad chops and taste! Duke would be proud.

  • you have a cute daughter=]

  • like it...

    m, 47, norway

  • beautiful!!! thanxx and great singing! haha

  • Bravo ! très belle interprétation. l' impro respecte bien le style du morceau du Duke.

    Simpsons !! lol :)

  • you're the caravan-boss :)

  • Great stuff!

  • Yeah. Right. There is a similarity between this and the Simpsons:

They both use musical notes. Ha ha ha!

    Just kidding.

  • Anyone recognise the Simpsons theme tune in there at about 1.40 onwards?

  • That is sublime. Beautiful rendition!

  • Really incredible. Congratulations for your talent. I hope it makes you feel happy.

  • wow.. so good -_-'

can u tell me what ur left hand is playing?

  • wow beautifully performed, the sound is really nice, you got mad skills and good quality piano:)

  • damn!, u got it going on!

  • Well done. sounds great, keep up playing that way...

  • like it a lot.

  • Wow! I'm very impressed!

  • wow man!! how long have you played for?

  • I like it so much. Great sound. I would like to know more about the kind of recording?

  • Thanks,as for the recording nothing special: a laptop + webcam + 5 Euro plastic mic...that is already dead :-)

  • I really like your improv. I've gotta learn!

    Beautiful.

  • Once again the KJ influence comes shining through in this lovely rendition. Nice job!

  • Your playing is really interesting. Your timing is unusual, nice latin vibe in this piece, but with classical flair. Nice use of counterpoint and intervalic spacing in left hand chords (not bunched up voicings). I hope you post some more jazz pieces. Also, great chops!

  • very nice, this one and the green dolphin street! Also sounds like you have a very nice piano too.

  • Great dynamics.

  • super, like petrucciani!! j adore

  • excellent improvisation - thanks for sharing!

  • Really good.

  • very nice,,,I enjoyed listening so much! I have a question for you. Of course, I think I already know the answer, but how important is it to you to practice scales and also, how important to practice playing chords with your left hand? Other question...were you playing the non-melody parts completely off the cuff or have you played it so much that you find yourself playing it similarly each time you play it. Once again,,,,very, very nice!

  • Thanks for yr comment man :-).

Just one answer to your questions: The more you know the more you are free. Then you have to study scales, chords, classical music...everything comes handy when it' s a matter of getting free, like a painter palette: more colors you have available, more chances you have to make the painting you want and you can go where you want because you know your way home.

I really try to improvise from scratch every time...hard job.
