I saw the RallyCross live. Hated all the waiting but still it was good. I was lucky because a friend saw it on ESPN and he told me that they fucked up the coverage so bad. The telemetry was so slow and sometimes didn't work at all, and the commentators couldn't keep up with the action. Glad I didn't watch it on TV then!
@NegativeNumbers427 block and deegan really... pastrana foust and doran... those guys just made the sport so much better :) i wouldnt blame energy drink sponsors so much as those shoe brands and the 2 arrogant/show boating drivers mentioned above just pushing their brand...
What they've done to rallycross in America is entertainment and nothing more, but real rallycross smashes rally hands down, especially these days with IRC and WRC being a bit of a farce
@twostickmapex rallycross is nothing like real rally. this is just going around a little circle and over a couple jumps in an arena, just like a monster truck show.
@lejink so what? why are you comparing it to rally... it's a whole different discipline and even though it's nothing like rally, it doesn't mean it's any less easier

@lejink well it evolved into its' own sport (most definately)... i still don't understand the comparison, both require different skills... one is driven solo, one with a co-pilot... one is a an A-B sprint, other a multi-lap short track... they are completely different :) it's like comparing a documentary to an action flick...
