Peace Pilgrim was a beautiful and inspiring lady. Her faith was mighty. She saw the good in all people. I would have loved to meet her and invite her to stay at my house on her pilgrimage. She expressed the true teachings of Christ in her words and actions.

What an incredible woman! If she had been Catholic I think she would have become a Saint. Oh, wait she is a Saint. Why have I never heard of this woman? I was born in 1953. I protested against the Vietnam War. I must have been in a cave somewhere. I am sad I did not know of her when she was walking, but I am so thankful that I have found her now. Thank you, Kumuda! I believe this was her unique path, as anyone of us, has a unique path. I also believe it's about the process of walking, not necessarily where she was going. for all of us it's an example to turn the simple into the extraordiary, she left an example of fortitude on the path.

maybe the best thing to do, is move forward, making everything we believe in, a living truth, every day of our lives.

For me, she embodies hope for this world, and hope for me personally to find such faith and purpose in life. I first knew about her from a very small book of phrases and thoughts, she was there... just "Peace Pilgrim". On early days of massive internet, I searched her name (no google at that time) and I loved her from the beginning. Watching this early footage I can see that she always had that beautiful spark, she was healthy, vigorous and had those firm and at the same time comforting ideas about peace, love and tolerance.
