Do they like being pet or are they just curious and don't mind? I know someone who had them, but they were eaten by racoons. The Koi I mean. XD

@shinocicada They're like dogs of water. I was told that they recognize their owners and you can train them. I'm sure if you spend enough time with the creature, you will connect, it's not impossible just because it is a fish, I believe that they are quite intelligent. They're very symbolic you wonder why so many people want them :)

I llike shushui with no butterfly fins. original one is nicer... I love feeding them with hand contact, not just throw the food in... it feel funny when they suck on ur finger haha

They do have teeth its just that they are behind their gills they grind the food they suck in with molars basically and Koi that size have the same sized teeth as us pretty much..

Why are the scales open down the back? Sorry for asking such a dumb question... I have only had a fresh water tank of simple lvl fish. Only long enough to know they have individual personalities like every walk of life!
