This is definitely the best comedic video about Dungeons and Dragons--and role-playing games in general--I have ever seen. lmao D&D is just fantastic, theres nothing that you can do more in, its just the most flexible game out there. I play it every weekend, and I've been playing for like 3 years (3.5 ftw), and never have we once dressed up, thats not what happens, just a group of people having fun who let there imaginations run with the story, but have tons of laughs along the ride.

and Some Paper and dice. Thats all. you dont need figures or paints for them or buying maps and dm screens and stuff. You can get that stuff for free.. and part of the experience is making maps yourself.

1. It is actually a rather cheap hobby. You can play the game with one 20$ book and some dice. The other stuff (miniatures, maps, fancy paints, etc) are entirely optional.

2. It's not actually as complicated as is potrayed anymore. Most of the more complicated calculations disappeared in more recent editions.

3. The rest of the video is pretty spot on. :-)

I just had my first DnD session last saturday and it was nothing like these jokers. My GM played really fitting music, which he timed the cutscenes at, and we don't have a board... cause the minis are lame. You can't have your own character or game map. All you need is the dice, a storyline, a pencil, and paper.
