The "Octo" setting on the Line 6 Verbzilla pedal is pretty close.

a chorus pedal, delay pedal, and an Octoverb setting on the Verbzilla would get you in the ballpark but that's three pedals. No one single pedal makes that sound

there is a chorus/vibrato sound in there. Notice a kind of "warble" Just use the digital delay with mod on your dl4 and you will get close.

can I get all my U2 sounds with an Axe-fx standard? Im torn on the ultra and the standard but would like to spend for the lesser of the two. I want to be able to do the into to COBL how it was done live. I heard it done perfectly on an Ultra. can it be done on standard? Also, I hear with the standard, your patches get F'd up when you download new filmware because it overloads the cpu, and there is no room for expansion on the standard. you can only alter the existing presets. Is that true

This Fractal Audio unit would be the perfect birthday present. But what did Edge use prior to this for his 'shimmer' effect? From what I can see there's only a limited number of true harmonisers, and they're all expensive. What could I use for shimmer?

wow.. that's a magical sound, i love that beginning. Even though you're just messing around with it. The edge played this on the Elevation tour in Boston before The Fly. I dont know if he played it somewhere else but that was the first time I heard that intro like that.
