my baby guinea pig died yesterday...i really don't know how it happen..the night before he was ok but early morning yesterday when my father is about to feed them he saw my pig is having difficulty in breathing.. i wonder how it happen that fast..sigh..he's one month old today..

Don't freak out!! If they don't come out for a day, don't worry, it's just what they do. Mine didn't really warm up to me until recently and I've had them a year or so. i can now pet my little honey bear but Hazelnut is still a little shaky about it. For the first day just leave them along and they'll figure things out.

If this continues, bringing it to the vet is the best option! While for the problem with drinking of water, use a bowl instead from the bottle. Hope this helps! :)

Be gentle with your new guinea pig. It needs time to adapt to the new environment. Do not carry it everytime because it will tend to be afraid. :)

that's a very obvious sign that your guinea pig could be sick, you should really call a vet a make an appointment soon. until then encourage to drink more water and if you need to sometimes it helps if you have her water in a shallow dish. hope i helped!

well i got him and put him in his cage but when i was holding him at the pets store he was very calm but then when i was takin him out of his carrier he started to squeel. and so then i put him in the cage and he just sat in his hideway home alll day without drinkin anything. its been 34 days and he hasnt drank anything. he doesnt eat his food only his treats which i dont give very ofen. if he just feels your vibration or anything he would run in his hideway home. i really want to hold him soon.

my guinea pig did that too, he was scared of me and didnt drink water. what i did was give him food that he was used to from the store like alfalfa and his pellets if u still have the bottle push the little ball at the tip of the dropper (of the water bottle) and when your finger is wet give it to your guinea pig. when i gave mine a drop he liked it and continued to chew my finger. then bring him to the water bottle and keep tapping on the dropper to show it how it work, if this dont work, reply

My male piggies don't fight. I don't know why. They get along quite well. Perhaps you can try putting them together for a little while to help them bond. If a fight breaks out, put a towel over them. don't use your hand.haha. :D
