  • this was less than 4 years ago why does ron paul look so much younger????

  • IF MY PARENTS TOLD ME THAT IN ORDER TO GET 3 HOT MEALS ON THE TABLE A DAY. A SECURE PLACE TO LIVE IN. ECT. AND A CHANCE AT GOING TO COLLEGE, THEN I NEED TO CUT DOWN ON MY SPENDING OF CHORE MONEY OR HOLIDAY MONEY AND GIVE MORE TO THEM IS LIKE GETTING STOLLEN FROM BY YOUR PARENTS. OUR GOVERNMENT IS DOING THIS TO US REPEATEDLY. THEY OVERSPEND AND THEN RING OUT THE PUBLIC EVERYTIME THEY GET TOO FAR BEHIND. ITS THAT BASIC. BUT THE LONGER THEY DO IT. THE POORER WE GET. ITS A DEPRESSION CYCLE

  • Damn, that McCain cunt brags w/ his rhetorical bullshit.

  • Fred Thompson ... the Nascar Commissioner from Days of Thunder? "And if it happens again, I'm gonna take your car apart for 500 laps"

  • i thank paul confused the other guys when he talked

  • It''s a shame. Congressman Paul was just on a whole other leve than the rest of them. He needed to just know when to ease off just a bit in order to rip the other candidates apart on their level, and then move on to the higher echelons like the Fed and wahat not.

  • FOX threw that stinky question at Huckabee... right at the end... shaping public opinion...nice...

  • excuse my ignorance, but is the guy talking at 7:00 minutes in an actor?

i swear i've seen him in shitty action movies.

  • @hemicalais His name is Fred Thompson...

  • @hemicalais Yeah, Fred Thompson played the Attorney General on Law and Order, I believe.

  • Giuliani is a wanker

  • ron paul 2012

  • 5 percent

wow. thats a blessing these days

  • its weird, it seems like ron paul has so many fans but he didn't even get too far

  • @mutterdutterdud the GOP insiders hate him because of his more libertarian leanings. the other candidates had the money on their side

  • I'm glad at least Ron Paul did his homework. While the other candidates think the only solution to the recession is cutting tazes, Ron Paul realizes that America's economy has a history of instability because the monitary system needs to be reformed.

  • I love how McCain talks about spending cuts when he supported TARP and wanted hundreds of billions of dollars more to help prop up housing.

  • RON PAUL 2011

    RON PAUL 2011

    RON PAUL 2011

  • Two years later, Ron Paul is the only one up there that shows the economic foresight to get us out of the mess we are in. Every other politician up there would almost certainly repeat the same mistakes that created this economic crisis. Is this not obvious to everyone that watches this video?

  • Ron won

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • Wow, Ron Paul was and still is right on the ball. He addressed our issue honestly and quite thoroughly within his 30 seconds.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • @LeuyGeneral

    Shut the fuck up!

  • man, it sure is refreshing to review these debates. A listening ear will quickly pick up on which answer was correct in this segment. Only Ron Paul addressed the issue correctly by dealing with the PROBLEM in our economy. Throwing more bandages on a bleeding wound w/o stopping the bleed is just stupid.

  • both of you are idiots. The fact is there is no difference between the democrats and the republicans, esp. in the case of Bill Clinton! Clinton ONLY did what was popular at the moment (a true poll president). All of them are progressives/neocons seeking more Govt, less Freedom.

  • Who did you vote for president last election?

  • Alright all of these men sucked. Gary Johnson 2012!!!!!!!

  • all sucked except Ron Paul!

  • Tancredo was pretty good and Huckabee was OK.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • Bill Clinton was the best Republican president we ever had.

  • Bill Clinton was a DEMOCRAT you idiot!!!

  • You're joking right. He gave tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy instead of the middle class and he signed NAFTA which sent millions of manufacturing jobs to Mexico. His policy beliefs are almost exactly the same as Eisenhower and Nixon if you look at all their voting records. Or have you not taken the time to research? Idiot

  • which party did clinton belong to? the Democratic party, whether his policies and beliefs were Republican is irrelivant, he is in the history books a Democratic president not a republican

  • It's called a fucking joke man. Grab the stick out of your ass and lighten up.

  • Bill Clinton was the best republican president we ever had.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • @MrPontiusPilate he was a democrat you retard

  • Comment removed

  • @mutterdutterdud

Why are so many people in the tea party racist? I don't think they all are but you are a blatant example of one who is. You even broadcast it all over your homepage like it's a point of pride.

  • @mutterdutterdud

Clinton gave tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy instead of the middle class and he signed NAFTA which sent millions of manufacturing jobs to Mexico. His policy beliefs are almost exactly the same as Eisenhower and Nixon if you look at their voting records. Or have you not taken the time to research?

  • MrPontiusPilate: Right...he also created the welfare to work program, which if he were a true democrat would not have done. This just goes to show there is no difference btn a Democrat and Republican anymore. But I disagree with your view that Bill Clinton was the best "Republican" president ever. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • Production companies were popping up every where, the price of oil/barrel was stable and low (which made everything more affordable), and lenders were approving mortgages based on stated income (no proof of income required), so homes were being sold left and right...with a new home comes new furnture..new appliances..electronics, needless to say our economy was booming.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • Wow. Fellas I must agree with you, what Ron Paul said pretty much happened. Too bad Ron Paul isn't that popular in the Republican party and the party won't take him serious. Otherwise I'd argue that Ron Paul would make it really tough for the democrats to attack and do better. I mean, just listen to him, the republicans need to watch this again and listen to Ron Paul carefully, he pretty much said exactly what will happen and boom! Impressive to say the least.

  • oh yeah... who is monerting the federal reserve? they just let them s.... all over us all..EXCEPT FOR ...RON PAUL! SO HERE WE ARE NOW 2009...STUPID PEOPLE IN AMERICA....DIDN'T SEE THAT RON PAUL LOVES THIS COUNTRY AND WHAT THE CONSTITUTION STANDS FOR...they listen to main stream media......(..who are bought.)....u can't buy ron paul,,,,he loves america...the only polication that does!

  • go back to acting Fred, you are a lousy economist.

  • Ron Paul is right on the Money on this Video! Wow that is Amazing how Ron Paul seems to have massive forsight into the future! 4:30

  • Clinton left a $559 billion surplus upon leaving office. Even you idiot republicans can't argue that he was the only one really pulling us out of the deficit.

But it's a lot easier to call dems "overspenders", isn't it?

  • republican congress moron. dont confuse budget surplus with debt surplus.

  • Your right to say that the republicans...especially the ones on this stage..except for Ron Paul ofcorse are insane. But you are wrong about clinton. anyone can make an artificial temporary boom (internet boom in the 90's) and then receive higher tax revenues. But we paid for clintons phony surplus in the bust when bush took office, then ofcorse bush and greenspan did the same thing and created a housing boom, but now we are seeing the consequences of clinton, bush, greenspan, and bernanke.

  • Huck knew/knows nothing 'bout economics

  • what pisses me off is how americans are voting, they'd rather say "look,i voted the winner!" than "i voted for the candidate i find best." and that crap about how everyone should vote, well when people who dont give a damn about politics nor even know what's going on are voting,we end up with a cruddy president...

so stay above the influece.dont do it just because people are telling you too.if you dont give a crap, dont vote.please.

  • YOU are saying that as if ron Paul is the best.

THIS MAN IS FRUSTRATED and he talks TOO FUCKIN MUCH as if he has asbergers. If he was smart, he'd keep his mouth shut until he got into office. THEN HE could start talking shit and destroy the FED, etc, etc.

Ron Paul's only usefullness is causing enough dissent among the party to cause Mccain to lose. After how Mccain attacked Ron Paul, I HOPE THERE IS MAJOR BLOWBACK.

  • I wrote that months ago. Hell I have a new account now. I've lost interest in the political race. Just seems pointless now.

  • Ron had very little time to explain to people how the system works. I think he did a great job doing that. How do you propose he waits until he gets in to the white house to say something about the Fed? It's not a secret that we have the Fed. what's with waiting 'till he's in office? kinda dumb argument... many people wanna end the Fed. I think he did a great job even though he didn't win... SOME people have actually educated themselves as to how the monetary policy works. Go Paul, hopefully2012

  • @bubbadankness sorry dude, I clicked thumbs down instead of thumbs up :)

right on dude, Ron Paul 2012!!!!

  • @elfkind1 RP2012...let's ROLL!!!

  • That would imply that it would be good for the Republican Party for McCain to win. It wouldn't. Unlike Paul, he would send the economy into the crapper.

  • Do people actually do that? The first time I heard it I thought it was a joke. If these people actually are out there, we're already doomed.

  • My gosh! I agree with you completely. You hit the nail directly on the head.

  • at least there are people like u and me who understand how ignorant it is just to vote for someone just because you think they're gonna win.

  • Everyone knows the economy is bad. Ron Paul was asked what he would do about it and he just floated vague ideas and platitudes. He has no substance at all.

  • I'm no Ron Paul fan, but he was the best in this clip. We need higher interest rates.

  • Ron paul should talk more about getting rid of the IRS and income tax.

  • Thompson is really terrible. His answer was just bad.

  • What pisses me off about these debates is i hear the same exact candidates blab in their answers and i have no idea what the answer is supposed to be.Every question should be asked to everyone to be fair.and they should get electricuted if they blab about the problem or take too much time. Anyone agree? Seriously, some things they say are important but the other shit they just go on about....

  • All politicians like to beat around the bush rather than give a straight forward answer. I agree with your idea.

  • hehe,we should try that out, practicing on these guys.

  • all i have to say is, is it that hard to answer a simple question? cuttin taxes? how? nobody answered that question. they just described the problems. they didn't answer the question. What did we do wrong? Ron Paul answered the simple question with a simple answer.

  • I have never imagined any politician to be as honest as Ron Paul. It is hard to discern the usual political bullshit from more political bullshit.. but when you throw Paul into the picture, it all becomes clear.

  • Gotta love the bit of brown nosin by huckabee at the end there and the shit-eatin grin on carl's face that followed

  • Just b/c the fed. govt. has more revenue doesn't mean the economy is in a better position. In fact, i would think the opposite would be tru

  • None of this matters we allowed Benazir Bhutto to be killed who Al-Qaeda said was "the most precious American asset." and they were right! We can waste billion's of dollar's a day on crap but cant even lift a finger to protect our most precious asset, fuck fuck fuck see you all in hell.

  • The Ron Paul goofs have gooed all over another website. Listen to Luntz you ignorant bunch of weirdo's! Your not helping RP, your killing him! Trust me, when I got started I was not set who I'd vote for, since you weirdo's have proven RP is for all cockroaches coming out of the sewer he's not my guy!

  • Wow, you base your opinion on the opinion of weirdo's. Interesting. Choose who you think is right because of that person, not necessarily the "weirdos" who support him/her. Let me know who you support, so I can not support him. Make sense? It's a joke, like your logic.

  • There is an ideology that goes along with every candidate. Such as any freedom loving American as I, can get onboard with RP's strict constructionist views. Yet, when you look beneath that, what you find in his backing are many "hippie menatality" types who are free love, free drugs, freedom of all kinds of laws. That's where they fall off. BTW it wouldn't be hard to find out who I like.

  • Do the supporters change the ideology of a particular candidate? If so, I agree that it wouldn't be a good idea to support that particular candidate--that's the major criticism of "special interests". However, if a candidate stays with his/her ideology, one that you happen to agree with, why would you change your mind about this ideology even if others twist it to fit their "hippie mentalities". This kind of voting, my friend, is what propaganda preys upon. Do you own thing.

  • in the SC debate, he was asked specifically to denounce some of the things going on by his supporters. He didn't do it. Therefore, he's part of it. That's a problem. I'm a fan of talk radio, but I'll tell you, I think they have been disingenuous to RP and several others. If you look at it, they give far too much time to Rudy and Fred the two unfavored candidates in this race.

  • Lower Interest rates in NOT the problem. One thing that depends on jobs is companies looking at their stocks and making their shareholders happy. Every time the fed meets and cuts interest rates, stocks go up. In many cases, I've watched stocks I was in go up 10 points after a rate cut. Higher stocks mean more jobs and fewer lay offs. So Ron Paul needs to learn more about what causes companies to lay people off.

  • Carl Cameron looks like furly from three's company. What an idiot!

  • When it comes to economic issues Ron Paul is clearly the most educated on the subject. Unfortunatly, too many average Americans dont have the same understanding, and therefore will vote for a fellow idiot to run the economy.

  • How can average American peasants listen to anyone but Ron Paul on issues of spending and taxes? He is the ONLY ECONOMIST on the Republican side. Do you dumb fucks as your hair stylist for surgical advice? Stop turning to people who have NO expertise in the field.

VOTE RON PAUL! I mean ACTUALLY vote!

  • Fred Thompson read his entire response off a sheet... the man clearly has never taken ECON 101...

  • fred thompson is a tool. period.

  • first

    btw RON PAUL 2008

  • theeth arguemenths are tho thtupid.

    America needths an enema.

  • hahaha lmao! at first, i thought he was joking!

  • These guys cannot complete a sentence without mentioning Ronal Regan.. Vague sentences with no substance and doesnt even bother to address the issues..

RON PAUL 2008 - a true intellectual of our time.

  • @BIOLOGICALSCUM Yes, thats usually because the rest of the don't think for themselves.

  • Huckabee just says what the problem is and then says...oh yeah I'm going to fix it...come on dude anyone could sit up there and say that
