God is not hurting them. God is good and only good comes from God. Why is God allowing this to happen, however? He does this because he loves us. They will return to his presence, exhalted. And those who cause children to suffer will be severely punished. In the New Testament, it has a part where Christ rebukes those who hurt the little children and say of them that it is better for them if they had never been born. Those people who hurt the children will be punished.
I hope you don't think that the title means God is hurting His children. The title means that they are God's children and they are hurting. It does not imply that God is hurting His children. You are right, only good comes from God. God is love. The reason things like this happen is, God gave mankind a free will to do as he wants in this world. Regretably, there are those who choose to be cruel and hateful. God is not in this. He has been clear about what happens to those that do not repent!

Boy..do I understand your feelings! I am the very same way. I can't even watch anything on TV where a child or an animal is being hurt much less see it happen...without it making me upset and hurt! My heart fills with pain over these things...I just can't bear to see it. I couldn't even use extreme abuse pictures for this video...beause it was too hard. I am a survivor. I come from a large family of 13 brothers & sisters. I was left with 7 of my younger siblings, when all of my older siblings left home, the abuse became more intense. I can't begin to describe the hell that I was living in. I ran away at the age of 18. I could have legally walked away. In my case I couldn't. To all the children who are going through abuse. I want you to know, there is hope. Don't give up. God is real, and he does love you. I am living proof of God's love.

It's a poem...It came from my heart. I didn't write it to try and convince people to agree with my beliefs, thoughts, and feelings. I wrote it for me...it was written to help me deal with the anger I have about child abuse. I was an abused child and God is the one (not religion) that has healed and restored me from all of the pain and emotional damaged caused by abuse. You are so right...I was a victim of child abuse and it took having a personal relationship with Christ for me to be delivered from addiction, and coupled with with years of therapy, I was able to work through the emotional pain of my abuse. Praise God \0/ That is what my testimony is all about! I have Treasure in Jars of Clay, 2Corinthians 4:7-18. How can I ever trade the greatest gift that God has given me? I have witness the Glory of God in my life.
Psalm 23, is the story of my life.
Jesus, was with me through all of my pain, I was not alone! How can I ever be ashamed? Jesus suffered and died for my sins! I am Alive! Because He Lives! And now, my life is His! And I was never the same again.

From what I have read, the cycle of abuse will
continue until some intervention stops it. When
people use drugs/alcohol it is a disease. Rehab
and the desire to stop can stop abuse. People also abuse children because they were abused or
don't have any parenting skills so they do what they think helps. Obviously not.

You are so right...I was a victim of child abuse and it took having a personal relationship with Christ for me to be delivered from addiction, and coupled with with years of therapy, I was able to work through the emotional pain of my abuse. The cycle of abuse stopped with me and my brother...thank God! Thank you for your profound comment. God bless...Dianne
