epic epic epic film, just love it and cant beleive it didnt do so well at the cinima! reminds me of the shawshank redemption went know were till thay put it on vidio then it just went ballistic. this is without a doubt one of the best all be it low budget films or even films i have ever seen .
I enjoyed this film overall, but I wish there had been way more Daniel in it. I had thought it would be flashbacks, not one flashback that was the entire movie. But the young actor that played Joe was magnificent and had me watching the whole way through anyway. It was a good movie.
This movie might be set to become a classic. I didn't know about it when it came out and I think it went largely unnoticed. I wonder if most people discovered it by chance when shown last year on tv, just like me. One of the very few love stories I've ever loved!
Too bad that the movie had to wait until his star power made it bankable. I once read a review from a regular guy who complained that 'Heat' "Did not have enough action". It is the classic cash versus art argument, big movies make big money but less expensive movies have much less money to lose. Of course, since many people (at least where I am) no longer GO TO the movies, the question becomes; what is the future of good moviemaking like this?

One of the nicest movies I have seen in a long time.It brings back a lot of memories growing up in the 70s. I am a big Bond fan and like what Craig has brought to the table for the franchise.
