Its a long story but it included a canceled flight two trips to the Orlando Florida airport, a delayed flight and a huge layover in Philly. Most of it was airline delays. We love Thailand. You are so lucky to have visited so many times.
I didn't have the chance to see the Sofitel Silom so I cant compare. This just happened to be the hotel that was part of a package deal that we got. We enjoyed it.
I stayed there in Oct, 2005.

Nice video. The tradional thai dance at dinner is a nice bonus. I have stayed at the holiday inn on ploen chit near the skytrain but not at Silom.
Where did you travel from that took four days to get to bkk?
Two more months until my 32nd trip to thailand from California.
