Not great, but yes, you can run it. Still, I would spend my bucks on faster GPU like 9600GT.

i got 8600gt 512mb gddr3 and amd athlon 6400+ 2 gigs of ram and i run this on high with 20-40 fps

inno3d 8600gt 256mb

windows vista dx10

i can play this game 1024x786 on all medium and get 35 fps average :)

It should run pretty well on that resolution. If you want to use a higher resolution or just want to boost performance, I recommended you to reduce Object-details to low.

how much fps du you got and how does it runs on high

With these settings FPS is always around 25-40. If everything is on high, it drops under 20 so it's unplayable.

I've found out that if you set objects to low, you'll get a great perfomance boost and I haven't seen real diffirence between low and med.
