  • hola despues de tanto buscar quien tenia el mismo problema que yo con su plasma por fin encontre!! yo no se que hacer estoy descorazonada, todos me dicen que no tiene arreglo, por favor diganme si lo tiene o no??? gracias por la ayuda.

  • I'm having the same problem its a thinner line. I'm thinking of trying the spray, but where would I find the pcb connector? Also, can I use dust spray or is it a specific spray? Thx!

  • @dcast323

The repair men dissasembled the back panel of the TV to reach that connector. Can't really explain and I didn't take photos or something back then, but it's a ribbon with a lot of cables.

Dust spray is no good, you would need an electric contact cleaner spray that leaves no rezidues (so don't use WD40 or similars as they will leave oil behind). Ideally the spray should be plastic safe.

Unfortunately I don't recall the exact spray they used, I didn't pay much attention at that time.

  • @genericVault thx. hopefully i can get it to look clear again.

  • that happens when you place the plasma tv right in the very same spot a thin wall exists from another dimension. Your tv picks up plasma radio-carbon from the other dimension and displays the exact time space continuum the wall physically exists in. Duh. j/k kidding I head some thing about upper/lower y boards and I also saw something about a logic board. good luck!

  • I work for LG's company.. and I know how this company make plasma TV.

This problem I am sure from connector pins not connected in PCB, when you open TV you will see PCB 'XR or XL". you should 'Re-solder this pin connector. This connector is on the top side your TV. Good Luck. Sory.. I am Asian and not very Good Speak english :d

Hi and thanks for your helpful comment. The issue has been resolved by LG under warranty. A team came to my location and cleaned the PCB connector with a contact cleaner spray. Since then, no more problems with the set, it works great. Thanks again!

  • @genericVault Thanks for your post...we tried the contact spray and it worked :)

  • @chrissyv1234 Glad to hear this. Since the quick fix (over a year) my set works great, hopefully you'll have no more issues with yours as well.
