Exactly, You are saying that there is no hell but there is this place Sheol where we all go. So then we all go to the same place and there is no Heaven or Hell just Sheol. Or if there is a heaven and no hell then everyone goes to heaven and it doen't matter what you do you still go to heaven. You are contradicting yourself. If only the good people go to your heaven then where do the bad people go and no matter where that might be we call it "Hell"
Jesus went to sheol/hades, preached to those who were disobedient in the days of Noah. Jesus set captivity free. From where? Hell? No, from the place of the dead. It requires a resurrection from dead to go to heaven and everyone will receive that resurrection. Jesus Christ IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. Hope tha explains things for you.

Jesus came to save the world, if he fails to do that, He can't be the Messiah, He can't be Who He said He was. "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth will draw all mankind unto My self" John 12:32
He means the guy doesn't know what he is talking about. Where I do that the concept of hell is miss understood and that he is right about what the Greek words mean and so forth. But he is lost when he talks about the translations ( of which I own most from both piles). In other words-fail!
