Sure, they had a couple good ones like Janie's Got a Gun and even The Other Side but, overall I think their music got worse after 1986.

I have always loved the 80's and always will. Journey right down to Aerosmith to men at work to Abba to mightnight oil. i was a 70's baby but love the 80's through and through. this is an awesome song. I went to an Aerosmith concert in 1994 it rock and will always be the best concert I attended.

"Real music" is relative. you like this because you liked it as a child. to the younger generation in the 50's, elvis was "real music", and the adult population wished for the "real music" they had when they were younger. to the younger generation of the 80's and 90's, aerosmith and other rock bands were "real music", yet adults wanted the music they had when they were younger. 30 years from now, todays young-uns will wish they still had the music that is around now. all music is real music.
