I think it says alot for the world  we live in when we judge all to quickly without knowing anything about the circumstances to which these children were left.

Lets not forget that the idea of the above video is it IS safer to leave a child with a group of medical professionals rather than in a cold damp environment. This can NOT be disagreed with.

Is it right or wrong that the mother left her child in the first place? Who has the right to answer that?!?!

Is it better if women just dumps her baby in a toilet or garbage if she doesn´t want her/him and where the baby possibly dies. Is it better if the kid grows up in a family where he/she is not wanted and possibly abused?

Those women have their reasons and I won´t judge em.

I think the hatch is too far away

from the hospital. It should be right up next

to the doctor/nurse's desk along with a much

better alarm and camera system. The mother should not have to give her name if she does

not want to. The important thing is the care

of the baby and adopting it out if warranted.

Programs to assist pregnant women would be

very helpful. There should be no more dead

babies dying of exposure that is negligence

on the part of the doctors and care facility.

Wrong, certainly not. Abandoned in a public toilet = death. In the hatch = life and perhaps a good chance of growing up in a good family.

Who are you lot and who has given youo the right to be judge and jury. Not one human being on this earth has such a right given these circumstances these mothers are in. Help is being awarded to these children who otherwise may have found a sad and cruel death.

How about approaching illegal immigrants in a non harsh fashion because you have to admit, the people in charge are racist and hate filled. How about a system without beaurocracy. How long did it take your family to become legal? Not that it wasn't earned. People crossing the border face about as much if not more challenges doing so illegally.

Regarless of the status of the parents as long as the babies are born in the country they are citizens, and they are entitled to the same rights, and care. I am surprised that you are an immigrant and that you would not understant that if those people left their countries is not for pleasure, the opposite necesity, lets work for the regulation of that without the hatred involve.

Here in Florida, Anyone can drop off a baby at any Fire Department without any concern of any investigation or questions. This has been proven to be very effective and should be considered an ideal model throughout the world.
