NEW DVD FLICK FREE BURNING SOFTWARE REVIEW

Its a little bit complicated for us dvd novice, but NCH software is quite straight forward, although it takes hell long to convert files before writing to disc with NCH software all you have to do is just click burn after you've finished adding your videos to the list.

From what I've read of the description of Dvd Flick, it's supposed to be able to convert .flv files (as in the Youtube vids) to burn to dvd. But the actual programme i downloaded (which is the latest version btw) seems unable to convert .flv files. I get an error message when trying to add these .flv clips for conversion. Does anyone have the same problem or a solution? TIA for any help :)

Everytime I make a dvd it freezes when I play it on my dvd player and sometimes I can't even fast forward it. Is this because of the speed I'm using? I'm making it using 4x. Now I'm going to try 8x. I have tried on multiple dvd players. I'm using maxell dvd-r 4.7 16x dvd's. Should I burn at a lower speed like 1 or 2x? Thanks

@lillypad3320 lillypad look the faster the burning the more danger of playback errors. just use times 2 and its ok.

@repomany3 i tried 2x and i'm having the same problem for some reason. i looked online and a ton of people are having the same problem as me. it must just be dvd flick. idk

What would cause the app to fail to see my onboard burner inside a virtual windows environment via Parallels on my imac. I never had any problems with it on my Dell.

i got 1 major problem.i done eveything you did and i successfully burn 1movie but on all others subtitles start to showing 30 sec to 2 min before speach started

@MrEnterainment well your computer should come with sum type of dvd player burner just check your computer.

You said you didn't know what the ISO image was for. It is the image that is written on the DVD. Why anybody would want to just make an ISO image I don't know, unless they are out of DVD blanks, or want to burn more than one. Myself, I never make an ISO image, I just burn it to disc.

You should tell the people it ain't gonna pop their new DVD movie out in 10 minutes -- it takes about 4 hours for me. I close all other programs, and let it run when I am done for the day. :)

Hi can you posibly tell me why all of the dvd's i burn with dvd flick are really out of sync when i play them back on dvd player?

@meyarz It's out of sync because you have to click on a button and it will fix it. Took me forever to find this out......

after you add whatever movie you want on the right hand side in dvd flick you will see "edit title" click on that then click on "audio tracks" when the box pops up. then on the right hand side of the same box you will see "edit" click that then another box will pop up & at the bottom left side there will be a little box that you have to check it says "ignore audio delay".

My problem is that i can burn a movie to a dvd and it will be fully working when played in my dvd player, then the next day i will do another one and everything will go normally except when i play the movie in my dvd player, the audio isn't in time with the movie! Please Help!!

hi this is my first time very much um.... i really need your help... when i created this dvd.. everything was fine expect add subtitle just frozen and never move green but there was nothing how much i have % left to go... just converting image.... but a time still keep going.... its frozen since so what should i do?? thanks!

yes thats how i burn it because they use to skip or frezze but i burned trasformers 2 and the aduio was of like in the middle and every now and then theres skipping in the movies

Hey man thanks for comment by the way um iv been getting that to lately and they say it prolly because you have the burning speed to be way to fast, now i havnt tried it yet myself cause i havnt burned a movie in a while but when you burn one change your buning speed to 4x. Hope this helps let me know if it did.

dvd flick worked great for the past year, now it doesn't work! after encoding error comes up saying ffmpeg.exe needs to shut down.

Ye i dont know what happened to dvd flick it doesnt work as good as it used to now. People and even me are always having problems with it.
