  • Poor Chinese kids...trained from BIRTH.

  • i wish i can train in china...

  • a china é fera

    alta disciplina

  • China rules

  • There's alot of haters in this topic

  • @pele1281

By "corruption" you mean hard work and athletic ability right?

  • TABLE TENNIS!! WOOP WOOP!!!!!

  • Ah, the 2008 Olympics - when the Chinese bought a bunch of gold medals. Hooray for corruption in sports.

  • @pele1281 Yes because European players in the 2000's have really stood a chance at beating Chinese players. The worst Chinese players to date can wipe the floor with most anyone else in the world. It's why Zhang Jike, Xu Xin, and even from 05-06 Ma Long hadn't been heard of.

You actually thought the U.S. or European countries would medal?

  • Chinese will always in the Top 3 , becouse they dont work, and just train to be good.

    European work, and make sport.

  • @RnBciO There are plenty of European players that play full time. European players can't beat China atm because they don't have a system or school to help train them. It's more about club play and the older style of coaching. With Werner Schlager's TT Academy that will hopefully change.

How would Europeans win if they don't train as long as China? China = 8-12 hours a day Europe = 4-8 hours a day. Do the math.

  • was the player in the beggining named "jaedong"??

  • @SaftKalasEmil same thought^^

  • Wow.

    too good.

    o.o

  • it's table tennis for god's sake! u r not a good english spokesman. ping pong is a brand!

  • So are you saying that ping pong isn't a sport? Just because you dont run around like crazy and ping pong is confined to a small area, doesn't mean that it isn't a sport.

  • @JackIntheBK Table tennis or Ping Pong is not confined to a small area. I'd like to know any sport that requires you to move 10, 20, even 30 feet within 2-3 seconds not to mention returning the ball on the opponents side of the table. The reaction time required of Table Tennis players is about 10 times faster than any other sport.

  • @LookB3hindU

It is a fairly small area. The outer parts of a playing ground are rarely used.

Its called Tennis, football, Baseball, and just about any sport.

Tennis players have to react just as fast or faster when a 100+ Mph serve is hit.

Football: The Wide reciever must react so fast to the word "hike" that he is able to "juke" his defender. The reaction time for both the defender and the wide reciever is-usually- faster than that in professional ping pong. Nice "facts" you got there.

  • @JackIntheBK Tennis players have to react to ONE serv and not all are at 100 mph where as in a TT Rally every hit can reach up the 100 mph mark if not they are a steady 70 mph.

And again in American Football a WR has to react to the single word Hike and run anywhere from 20-100 yards after he's juked his opponent, but the reaction to hike say in 2-3 seconds is still only a 3-5 yards worth of distance.

Also I'd appreciate if the comparisons are left in singles sports not large team sports.

  • @JackIntheBK Also you don't watch many matches do you. The outer parts of the arena are used quite often. With the speed of the ball for two aggressive players or even an offensive vs defensive player players are pushed back 10-20 feet from the table quite often.

And many professionals like to exhibit their skills and will show off quite often by stepping outside of the barriers to lob the ball back in play.

  • @LookB3hindU

I do, and i guess its my fault for using the word "often", because its subjective.

They dont go out very far that often, 10 feet as the usual most.

Your arguements are very poor. In professional tennis just about every serve is 110+. I'm using professional tennis as an example because your obviously using professsional TT as your example. There is a drastic difference between pro TT and almost anything lower than that.

I think your forgetting that 3-5 yards is 9-15 feet..

  • @JackIntheBK Nope not forgetting the yard to feet conversion at all. If you remember my first post it described TT as one where a player must return a ball while moving 10, 20, or even 30 feet within 2-3 seconds per hit. Each return in a counter loop rally is around 100 mph give or take 10 mph. And your first argument was that TT does not require a player to move very much. While a Tennis court and Football field may be larger than a TT arena, the distance travelled is similar.

  • @LookB3hindU

Your last paragraph makes no sense as it is very random, and

    neither does your first paragraph.

Gtfo dude, your just a crappy troll who tries to sound intelligent. Its annoying me and i'm sure many other people. It amazes me how stupid you are.

  • @JackIntheBK On the contrary I'm entitled to my opinions as you're entitled to your misspellings and improper grammar. I was just trying to enlighten you that Table Tennis is every bit the sport as the ones you had listed. A TT athlete will do the same types of work outs that other more physical sports require.

In my opinions it's one of the few sports that requires both tactics and physical conditioning. I don't see your arguments at all and can't understand some of your sentences so bye.

  • "u r" not a good (E)nglish (spokesman*)?Research the meaning of spokesman and remember that names and places' first letters are capitalized.Remember that.

  • I think this is the school Jet Li assisted. Am i right? lol

  • +1 FOR PING PONG

  • table tennis is the hardsdet sport in world

level of elites and you have only 0.003 seconds to answer to the ball that says in wikipedia

  • Its not the hardest sport in the world don't be silly, but it does take ridiculous speed and reaction timing, as well as unbelievably soft hands and consistency. But it cannot be compared to the physical difficulty from wrestling, gymnastics and mixed martial arts.

I compete a lot in all of these sports i listed minus gymnastics.

  • Sure you do,the fact is,it's the internet you can make these statements anonymously and not be afraid that you will be confronted.Unless you can prove it,all you're doing is giving empty words, which I don't think anyone in their right mind would waste their time on.

  • Comment removed

  • @daz45 For all I know from looking at your

    biased,aggravated comment,you could be lying

it IS the internet. You have misunderstood

proof,to prove is to provide FACTS,EVIDENCE,

about an event you wish to state true.

  • @daz45 Actually it is one of the hardest sports to learn in the world. It's one of the only sports where veterans can and often do out perform to their younger, faster, but less experienced team mates.

Name any of your listed sports that don't have you retiring around your late 20's and early 30's. At the very least you won't be leading in the top 5 world rankings at that age.

Wang Liqin is as strong as any other athlete out there when weight lifting before training so yeah...

  • To perfect i don't disagree, soft hands technique speed I don't understand what your trying to get at in the rest of your argument, your saying the sports i listed are easier because you retire or are less competitive as you reach 30? That would make them harder, there is no way in wrestling many 40 year olds are going to be able to deal with 26-28 year olds, with the speed and power Also there is no comparison between wang liqin's athelticism and olympic lifters/wrestlers like a child with men.

  • @daz45 You're misunderstanding me. I also have a background in MMA as a 2nd Black Belt and a lot of MMA clubs trained in. The sport requires physicality so that is exactly why a 40 year old can't compete against a 25 year old. In TT, A younger, stronger, and faster opponent won't always win because they lack the experience and tactics of an older player. Meaning that it is much harder to learn the sport with it's variation and vast adaptation aspect.

  • @LookB3hindU every 40 year old will lose to an equal 25 year old. In high levels moving around the table is the most important

  • @LookB3hindU In MMA you have a striker or a ground person as your opponent so your tactics will pretty much stay the same for each category. You adapt by countering or takedowns. Hence it is easier to Learn MMA than TT

Wang Liqin trains in China's Olympic Factory. He has the leg strength of many of their Olympic Weight lifters. He has one of the strongest upper body strength ratios than almost any other Chinese Olympian. In China he is often called The Strong One.

  • @LookB3hindU You can't compare the leg strength of a tt player to an olympic lifter, the chinese olympic lifters are medal winners no chance he will be lifting the same, in mma you have olympic wrestlers he is no way on par with their strength and athletic ability.

  • @daz45 Uh yes he does. It's a known fact that he was lifting at the same percentage and ratios as their Olympic Lifters. Hence why he was called the Strong One.

You say Athletic Ability, but MMA requires less Athletic ability than most sports. You'll cover short distances in less time than most other sports. I agree that MMA requires flexibility and strength, but not nearly the same athletic ability.

And besides technique always beats strength so I don't know what you're getting at.

  • @LookB3hindU So what was he lifting then? In table tennis it requires less explosive power simple, in mma you need to be able to wrestle, look at wrestlers and then look at table tennis players, end of argument, if you honestly believe they are as athletic as an olympic wrestler you are more deluded than i originally thought.

  • @daz45 Are you kidding me? Explosive power is pretty equal in both sports.

For lack of arguing here I just want to analogize to end this. I'm not dissing mma I've studied it for over 15 years so I'm really into it. TT is another passion of mine. A take down or submissive move requires loads of energy.to be disbursed in or around 3 seconds or less. Each move requires that you move in a specific direction until the move is completed or defended.

  • @daz45 In any case that explosive energy ends in about 3 seconds or less. In TT you have explosive energy as well lasting for around the same time, but it's a lot more consistent. Just because you put a lot of power into a shot doesn't mean the point is over. You have to explode for the shot and then explode to recover the next shot.

In MMA you don't have that luxury of exploding every 30 seconds or so. So I argue that TT is just as athletic as MMA strength aside.

  • @KaviHUH DOnt speak shit

  • @KaviHUH not entirely true... If you're at the table then yes, but you move back to gain time. In reality it's more like 2-3 seconds to respond to a ball in a hard rally.

  • @KaviHUH not to mention, moving 1mm more or less forward or backward, up or down \ completely change the movement, velocity, and the power of the ball.

  • @KaviHUH u must be dumb try going to a boxing gym n see how hard that is table tennis is easy as fuck u just gotta get good at it like every other sport, im a boxer but also like table tennis n i bet if i train all da time n get good i can probably be a pro table tennis player but thats not my sport. this sport is no where to hard

  • @KINGofALLkings910 hahaha you should play against a real table tennis pro to see how much differences there are between an amture and a pro. It takes at least 20 years to become a table tennis expert if you are talented, some people trained themselves decades but getting nowhere. There are no easy sport, table tennis is as hard as other sports. As a boxer,

  • a sport is where you can play offense and defense: tennis, ping pong, badminton, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, etc.

a COMPETITION is where you are rated and or placed for a performance: swimming, diving, archery, gymnastics, ice skating, all races,

  • golf is a sport.......no offense or defense.

  • @t3hanarchistRRed So by your statement all of these are competitions but only the first group are sports? A sport is both tactics in offense and defense and competition. The very first sports (olympics) were a measure of who was the best. So by definition any sport involves competition.

  • say ant you want i am in right. the most part of this vid is about the most famous sports in china, gymnastics.

  • wow, table tennis is their number 1 sport

  • "i hink every player will be... very ploud to be err, a ackhele i hink in China..."

  • i think hes talking very well in a second language. can you speak any languages other than english?

  • chinese. in fact, english is my second language. in a way

  • why would you make fun of your own people in such a manner?

  • Becos i am not born in China. I am not raised in China, but i am forced to do by my parents the "cultural responbilities" of being in the Chinese race. Sure i know the Chinese have a rich heritage, but i have good reason to NOT pass on certain traditions. I do not understand why i am being persecuted by my family for doing so.

So in a way, i have a this little thing against the Chinese people. Hope u guys can understand :)

And, there is no such thing as "my people". All humans are my ppl.

  • No offence but i don't like it when people say "your people", "my people". Sorry =)

All people are people, regardless of race or language. Besides, that comment is just a joke. Last but not least, I'm Singaporean

  • gymnastics is The sport of china

  • SAMERONEI,

gymnastics is NOT a sport. nor is DIVING, or synchronized swimming.

  • WTF??

Gymnastics is the hardest sport in the world. the ebst, too

  • SAMERONEI,

it is NOT a sport because it is not MEASUREABLE. like equestrian.

a sport "should" be defined as an activity that is measurable eg running (time), shotput (distance), high jump (height) swimming (time), boxing (number of punches that connect cleanly), basketball (points scored)....etc

gymnastics, diving, equestrian r SUBJRECTIVELY judged, hence descrepancies in scores and why the lowest and highest scores are removed (in the case of diving).

  • what you are talking is fucking shit.

the score system, (difficulty plus quality performance) is high developed in gymnastics.

and why is a sport not a sport for you just because it is hard to assess??

  • SAMERONEI,

because english is your second language, ill go easy on you.

do you know what the word "subjective" means? what about "interpretation"? if you dont, i suggest you read there definition before you comment further.

and there was no need for such language.

  • @johnnytheprick

if they're not would they be in the olympics? hmmm...probably NOT, huh? don't talk shit about gymnastics, you cunt faced dick. i'd like to see YOU try doing gymnastics without crying or getting hurt.

  • STARLIGHT,

dood, all i said was that greece started the modern olypimpics in 1904! sheeeeeeeeesh.

    youre single huh?

  • 1:08 i <3 HIS ACCENT!!!!!!

  • @ilnygirl101

my friend talks like that =) she just moved here from china, like, 1 or 2 months ago.

  • yup, look at bernie madoff perfect example, so sad, educating children here to be gold diggers.

another place is call citi-habitats a rental company in nyc own by corcoran, in their office is like a factory, but they give all the leads to their own cousins!

  • breeevi

  • then y the fk are people still making fun of the chinese. they should respect them

  • Are those tables Stiga made? I sure hope they are.

  • Fuck you american assholes. At least you can look into this 'factory', because there is only training, no drugs

  • who won in the 1970 usa or china?

  • china dominating sports in the world: table tennis, badminton, gymnastic, swimming/diving, and what else i forgot!

  • Quy4life - "...and what else i forgot?"

You forgot that China has the largest pool of children to extract for their training. It is ALL government sponsored and run for the purpose of world "domination" like you said. And you are strangely proud of it, as are many Chinese.

Just recently, the Chinese government gave Wang Hao(ping pong) "PERMISSION" to date. He was given "PERMISSION" to have a human's life by your government! LOL!!!

    Please be humble.

  • hmmm like you said. They have the largest pool of children. However, i forgot to mention my last post that these children are from poor family background. Poverty in China still very high! If these kids dont' train their ass off, the government will surely abandon them. Of course, winning medals for their country will make their country proud and at the same time, building a future for themselves. Win-win situation.

  • QUY4LIFE,

    and what about india?

  • Have you ever been to India? There are a lot of beggars!!!!!!

  • QUY4LIFE,

i think you missed my point. you were going on about the population of china which has roughly the same amount as india, but india has nowhere near the amount of olympians as china does.

  • I guess China has a very strong sense of nationalism and pride. Also China is to be expected a super power in the near future . i guess those factors intensify China's want for sports domination.

  • QUY4LIFE,

"expected" 2 b a superpower? my god, they ARE the superpower but unlike the US, arent arrogant about it. china just goes about its business.........quietly.

  • @Quy4life

how raciest of you to say so =/

  • The fucking US don't need factory at all because they can do anything with doting

  • Factory? Fuck you, rednecks. Suck my dick.

  • i know right what a retarded title...its not a factory...if u ask me i'd say its very prestigious

  • what's there to suck?

    sorry, too easy :\

  • lol :)

  • Please I would need the e-mail contact for this school

    Xian-Nongtan sports school

  • china owns the world at anything

  • Please I would need the e-mail contact for this school

    Do you know that?

    Xian-Nongtan sports school

  • I'm chinese, and I agree that China's really good in many aspects..... except for making dairy products.

  • Lol.

  • lol totally correct. no cheese in china anywhere. there isn't even really a word for cheese.
