You missed one. If you go to the safe without wearing the gloves and gas mask, you get bitten by the mice and pass out or something like that. You also missed quite a few Danger on Deception Island ones as well... but you're still quite good at what you do so keep at it!

I wasn't serious, and grues aren't real. I read once in a game walkthrough (Riddle of the Sphinx) that old games wouldn't let you walk into dark places--you had to light them before you could continue (the walkthrough said that was because grues live in the dark and attack adventurers). A grue, according to Wikipedia, first showed up in a book series called Dying Earth by Jack Vance and it is in some games. So don't worry about grues. Sorry, I like to joke around sometimes. ^^;

Even though there wern't that many ways of dying i think that the second chances are more fun in the earlier games. They just go to second chance so you can make up what happends to Nancy. In the newest one they make up excuses for survival.
