Wow, pretty horse you have! :) Can I ask you why you use that kind of bit without a curb chain or with double reins? It becomes very unstable when you don't.

@Carkjol Thank you :) 3 ring bits NEVER have a curb chain (well I've never seen any horse with one), and you don't have to use double reins either. They are pretty stable as far as I've seen anyway, I see nothing wrong with them once the rider has a soft hand :)

@EllenMario First of all, I have to excuse my bad english, haha! :P Even though you ride with a soft hand, the pressure will double many times . Since this pessoa/three-ring is a gagbit, it will give pressure to your horse's palate, but at the same time ask it so lower it's head because the bit rotates when you put pressure to it, and it will give pressure to your horse's neck because. I've talked to several bitexperts and really studied this, but it's really hard for me to explain it in english

@EllenMario It becomes very much pressure to your horse's mouth when you constantly use the lowest ring. When you use double reins you can adjust that. And as I said, the curb chain will stabilize your bit, because when you haven't you will be able to rotate the bitt all the way around. That's why you use curb chains on that kind of bit with a curb effect. I have nothing against you, don't get me wrong! :) But that's just how the bit are made. Have you tried other bits, like kimblewick f.ex?

@EllenMario Okey, but it will still be a lot of pressure when you use the curb. I promise it's a lot better for the horse when you use a curb chain and double reins, and it will give the horse more accurate signals too! Just a tip! :) How tall is he btw? ^^
