i don't think so...Best Buy refuses to say Merry Christmas at the registers...Lowes employees are not allowed to refer to trees as "Christmas trees", towns like Maryville, TN and many others prohibit Christmas celebrations. The manger scene is prohibited in many locations, I can go on and on....it really doesn't hurt anybody, I guess I just don't understand what the big problem with Christmas is? It'd be one thing if everyone was forced to celebrate it, but they're not.

At work I have access to the news wire...so I see the stories that never end up making it also. I could also be slightly wrong that they cancelled the entire event in Maryville, but a group has a Christmas event where they light the tree in the town, and it is a tradition that they close with reading scripture about the the Christmas story from the Bible. The tradition is ending because some people don't wanna hear the Bible. I have an idea...how bout they jut don't go! Happy Holidays! ha

Deficit spending in recessions is acceptable. Boom times are for surpluses and balanced budgets. The boom of 2003-2007 were all large deficit years.

So you can't vote for Democrats and you can't vote for Republicans. Whenever one is in power and is screwing things up, the other promises to fix things. So people vote for the opposition. But then they keep on spending us into the ground.

It's a never-ending cycle. You gotta vote third party.

Say you're laid off from your job. If you were being fiscally responsible, you should have some savings to fall back on. When that runs out, you can utilize debt to keep you afloat until you get another job. Then you use your new income to pay off your debt. The problem comes in when government "lives beyond its means" during times of prosperity(2003-2007)
