The 1st group of people only got those eye-things when they wanted hard enough, prayed a lot. The second group destroyed that god-machine, and built a new which produced those things realy fast, which made the group wealthy, but once the ruins of old times was awaken it killed its destroyers, and the 2nd group was annihilated in their attempt of resistance. Unfortunately the machine kept on going, filling the world with those things that was useless now.

So the question becomes...which is this?

Therefore, the interpretation becomes totally relative to each individual...it could be similar to Dada and have no meaning or it could be full of symbolism...Even work that has clearly translatable content could be an attempt to mask a larger and more ephemeral subject...it's up to us to decide for ourselves.

I reminds me of the book "The Mana Machine" by Erich von Däniken. Where he claimed the Israelites have been fed by a flying radioactive robot during their 30 year journey though the desert. I was 7 years old when I read that book. Your animation kind of touches childhood memories in an odd way. I like it.

Very nice video, I like the symbolism. I guess it shows how old religion is pushed out by new religion. Eyes symbolise the clear sight of what things are, that is, the truth itself. But the new folks forget what religion really was and make a lucrative business out of it. It brings pleasure but is materialistic and will bring people to their doom.

I really enjoyed this video. Especially how from that video, stems various either well thought out or for a lack of better words.. ignorant interpretations.

In the actual making of them, it isn't always as well thought out as some may make it out to be. Perhaps a generalized theme, or hidden symbolism. But ones interpretation is usually never dead on to the one who made it. Which is what I always like about these sort of movies.
