  • Robert, go there and remember. It helps.

  • RESPECT!!

  • I touched it before!

  • touched my heart good song

  • I heard this song on Youtube, a week later, I was standing in front of it and found my friend and mentor, the man who, through his training of me, saved my life but lost his. Don't know if I will be able to return there but His name will always be with me.

  • Always Faithful

  • Beautiful song.....thank you.

  • Everything that is placed at the Wall is kept if you didn't know.

  • This is the first time I have heard this and it tells all. My crew is on the wall, I will never forget

    SO OTHERS MAY LIVE

  • Why?

  • face it. morning the dead wont help anything, but shaking a vets hand and thanking him for serving will make his day

  • Is anyone else tired of COMMUNIST PHILOSOPHY yet?? I am my old man was drafted to serve his country and i dont need to hear your negative comments he fought for his country as a navy SEAL if you dont know what that is you un american son of a gun its the best of the best soldiers no man can take his honor away from him and id love to see you come straight to him and say these disrespect words to him youd just be another dead viet cong to him boy!!!

    MY LAI 1968

'When turned over to the press and Government by the photographer, those “unofficial” photographs provided the grounds for a court martial. Haeberle's[photographer assigned to Charlie Company] personal images (owned by himself and not the US Government) showed hundreds of villagers who had been killed by U.S. troops. More significantly, they showed that the dead were primarily women and children, including infants.'

    wiki, Ronald Haeberle

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY What child could have made our comments VOID.

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY

Hey, I've had enough of your Anti-American, Anti-Democracy, disrespectful bull****. I don't know how or where you were raised, and I don't really care, but you have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to disrespect the dead or the veterans. You were never there, so you have NO idea what they went through. Do every single one of us a favor, shut up and go somewhere where you will be accepted, LIKE CUBA OR NORTH KOREA, which, BTW, are the last surviving communist powers on the planet.

  • For my friends and class mates who never made it back alive and now on the wall. I also have two relatives whose names are on the wall. Thank you for your service, an to all who made it back I care, and thank you for your service to your country. May God bless you all.

  • With the addition of six names added in 2010 the total is now 58,272 names listed on the Memorial. Approximately 1200 of these are listed as missing (MIA's, POW's, and others). THANK YOU ALL - GOD BLESS THEM - WILL SEE THEM SOON

  • 50,000 of our best that ever was ! never forget them !

  • took my father to see "The Wall That Heals" when it came to my home town.It was very emotional for him.He past away this October with complications from agent orange.I know that he was glad he got to see it.Love and miss you SSG.Steve Rainbolt.

  • I am a former member of the 5th Marine Regiment in Vietnam. Many of my friends are on the wall.

  • We all gave some. As the song says some gave it all. I can not find the courage to go to the wall. Too many of my friends names are there. Maybe one day I will join them there and be young again and walk with the heros.

  • @robertray54 It is VERY hard to go to the WALL. I just went on my 40th anniversay of DEROS, 23 Oct,2011. It's huge man! Not the monument, but the experience. You will NOT regret the visit. Very much like visiting all the resting places of all the guys at once. I only carry one name around with me, but it was good to see his name, and touch it, and be touced by it, for me.

  • Very moving...

  • Saluts to the fallen....Tribute to the fallen......Never forgott the fallen....indiffrent of their nationality, color and race.....

    a german

  • people are such fools, i went to the wall and saw all of my buddies names. they are lucky, not like me, every day i wake up in pain, i have a reminder of that war that will last me the rest of my life, all just to make a few assholes richer. do you think these monsters that are in power give a shit about us vets, i say if they want to start a war so bad, let them and their children go fight it. there is a commandment that says tho shall not kill.

  • I cant believe it's "a wall that heals". The men and women who were sent there were sent to be slaughtered, and for what?

  • I can not bring myself to go there. So many of my friends are gone.. So many gave it all... All of us gave some.. Some gave it all... As I grow older I remember all those of my friends that will never grow old.

  • @robertray54 go to the wall, but take someone that will stand beside you and with you, it will be hard. my husband found the wall hard but I think it was something he needed to see and touch. I also think that when he passed away due to agent orange, he was never mad at his country. He was proud he had done what his country had asked him to do, right or wrong. All he ever asked was that now his country take care of him. Vietnam 1968 -1969 100th Engineers. Thank you for the song

  • @robertray54 Go there. Please do it for yourself... go there. <3

  • God bless those Americans soldiers that gave their lives. You are all missed in are hearts.

  • all in all it's just another prick on the wall

  • 1 dislike? Really? This should have ZERO dislikes. What human being is that much of a cretin to click the dislike button? Don't care who you are or what country you are from, you don't be that much of a bastard troll to click the dislike button to a tribute of the men and women who gave their lives in this horrible war. And the ones that made it home were treated like crap, like monsters. I hope to God that that dislike was an accidental click.

  • Much respect to all veterans....

  • Honor is hereby respectfully given to Guillermo Ruiz-Bernard, SP4, 25th

Infantry Division (Tropical Lightning) see patch at minute 3:45, and who died in Vietnam in 1968. Another fallen hero from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Let's keep supporting

  • I love our vets! My brother just missed the draft, and so did my husband. Now my children are at that age of serving in the military. My heart aches for those who died in the past wars, and today's. Come quickly Lord Jesus!!!

  • Outstanding! Thank you. wow...

  • You deserve a lot more views than you have. This song reached out and touched me, made me feel sorrow for all the soldiers who died for their country and the ones who came back as hated men for "killing innocents" in the Vietnam war. I will forever remember this song.

    Thank You.

  • 444

  • God bless you all...those who fought and died and those who survived. We are forever in your debt. Happy Veterans day!

  • What a great, beautiful song! God Bless you all for doing this video! Vietnam Vets ~ thank you for all you did for us! You're heroes!

  • Thank you for this emotional video. My brother was a member of the NZ ARMY SAS REGIMENT that fought in Vietnam ( 2 x tours of duty) and is so proud to have fought along side soldiers from the US, AUSTRALIA & KOREA. When he watches images of "The Wall" he often has tears in his eyes over the loss of so many brave vets. RIP to all fallen Vets in Vietnam, NEVER WILL YOU BE FORGOTTEN BY THE PEOPLE, unfortunately the same cannot be said about our governments-US, AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND,SHANE ON YOU!

  • In May of 2010, 6 names were added to the wall....

  • Excellent, you say what many of us feel, thank you. Without a doubt, one of the best tribute songs.

  • I've been to the wall twice and it was a very painful emotional experience to see the names of so many of my generation killed while serving their country. I was lucky, I came home in one piece, but later diagnosed with survivor's guilt. I lost 2 high school classmates there, so your tribute means something special to me. To all Vietnam & era Vets: Thanks for your service and welcome home.

  • Even my Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts, and Combat Infantrymen's Badge can't obscure the fact that it took ten years before I could face and begin to be healed by this miraculous Wall. It was thirteen years before anyone thanked me. The sight of "Tree Vets" who still can't emerge from the adjacent trees, cross the lawn, and finally begin their own journey back breaks my heart and haunts my soul.--Tom Reilly

  • "The Wall Song" is still 1 of the best Tributes i have heard.....found you with 907 views....and now 4,200 views in 5 months.....you all deserve it.....May God Bless You

  • @50poiuyt if it wasnt for vets in this country your stupid ass wouldn't have your freedom of your computer fuck face.

  • @50poiuyt - why don't you speak your Gook somewhere else. It's not welcome here if my father was to see what you were writing on here I guarantee, you would have a VIET VET stomping on your hole in the ground. This was is for the men n women who fought hard n gave everything, so that I may have a future. Your kind is terrible, I've heard many stories. you have NO value to life, we had every right to go in n kill as many of your fuckers as possible. Don't ask for respect you WONT find it here
