That abrupt turn from E flat minor to E flat major at 1:36 is absolute genius! Completely unexpected--it comes out of nowhere, but works perfectly for a number of reasons: 1. minor keys are always unstable (and hard to maintain!) and wish to modulate to major, 2. the section is well defined as a coda and ripe for change, 3. it gives closure to the text, 4. now you're able to add a major seventh (vs. minor seventh) to the chord tonic for much more sting--which happens in the trumpt lines. WOW
