  • I came to the extreme

  • i just came....the shear epicness i couldnt help it this.....song......shouldnt be heard by mortal ears

  • argh, whats the part at 5:38 off? it's killing me

  • Arrgh, that's the only thing I don't like in this mix: too much FF8, to few FF9!

  • :-o This is freaking awesome.

  • You have uploaded a five-part masterpiece. You deserve the respect of a god.

  • Oh wow, The Extreme is extremely epic (no pun intended).

  • I always loved how "The Extreme" broke down to the piano piece in the original, but this was AMAZING

  • What songs are being played in the IX Medley along with Grand Cross.

I can't get my head around it

  • @LemonZoso I have no idea either. Doesn't sound like any recognizable theme from FF9 or 10.

  • @LemonZoso its from the Black Mages version of The Grand Cross

  • @mattofthegays I know it's Grand Cross, I just said that.

But the melody with all the solo's afterwards isn't Grand Cross but something else from FF9.

  • @LemonZoso once again it is from THE BLACK MAGES VERSION, in each of their songs there is a solo break from the main song, the composer of this one used THE BLACK MAGES VERSION of Grand Cross as well. so once again, it is THE BLACK MAGES SOLO BREAK IN THEIR VERSION OF GRAND CROSS (the capital letters are a sign of emphasis i am not yelling fyi)

  • @mattofthegays Actually it's not the Black Mages version. The solo firstly is missing some percussion and the rhythm of said solo is different than the BM version. Most remixers throw in solos, and yes both the Black Mages and moAbi did, but they're vastly different. Therefore we can conclude that this is moAbi's own original version.

  • @TheMegaGirlX1 I'd have to agree

I've listened to ALL of The Black Mages albums and NONE of their songs seem to relate to the solo after the Grand Cross Version is played.

So you're conclusion that it's moAbi's own original version is justifiable and valid

    Fuck i'm nerdy

  • @FitoSaav So have I XD. Huge Black Mages fan. But I give credit where credit's due and this isn't BM lol. And I'd assume most of us here are nerdy, so you're in good company :P

  • @TheMegaGirlX1 Well thats pretty comforting to know :D

Also, Crow's Claw is a good FF song remixer (just to let you know).

  • @mattofthegays Alright man, if you say so :)

  • @LemonZoso alright my apologies, perhaps i heard a similar melody on one of their songs but yeah its not from there....now that is going to bother me LOL

  • Actually, Apirition, Ultimecia's theme transitions into Grand Cross.

  • these song induce eargasms. You have been warned.

  • @nopieghost Now I know what an eargasm feels like, AND I have a word for it.

  • After repeated listens of this and the FF8/FF9 OSTs (brought about by Dissida Final Fantasy), I've concluded Ultimecia's Theme runs until 3:42 (not 2:58). Then it transitions to Blank's Theme from FF9.

  • I love how FFVIII gets so much spotlight time in this megamix. :-)

5:07 - 5:27 almost sounds like a remix of the 3rd tier of Dancing Mad! XD

  • @Appiration it's because FFVIII really had one of the best soundtracks of the FF's. Well, IMO anyway.

  • @Endless0067 That's fairly correct. A number of great songs have appeared throughout the Final Fantasy series, but FF VIII produced the most greats.

  • @Endless0067 Actually, I think the real reason is because MoAbi hasn't released a 10 minute FFVIII meledy track like he has with FFVII and FFIX.
