Incredible song and video. I am very thankful to have this, but is there a way to kick up the audio? Does any have that talent, I know it is beyond me
Rush Limbaugh uses this song in his "bumper" music rotations on the radio - great musicianship. I always loved Robert Palmer's quote as to why he didn't use drugs, paraphrased: "It seems stupid to think of performing while you're (chemically) half silly."
This song was actually big at the time it came out on rock radio and MTV. I don't know why there was no staying power with it...especially on vh1 classic.
How ironic! I just bought Robert's "Don't Explain" album with this one it last week! I didn't know he did a video for this song, and I didn't know Steve Stevens played guitar on it! Classic Robert, I miss him.
I can't believe this is the only posting of this song. How can you not love it? Robert Palmer and that amazing guitar player who happens to be Billy Idols guitar player and none other than the infamous Dirty Diana guitar player for Michael Jackson. Kick A!
That 'amazing guitar player' is Steve Stevens - he played for Billy Idol and Vince Neil's solo band as well as his own band called The Atomic Playboys - but the guitarist for Michael Jackson was Jennifer Batten - she had the same hairstyle and dress sense as Stevens so I can understand why people would confuse one with the other!
BTW, kudos to the uploader for posting this video - please continue posting more - The 80s & early 90s were my favorite decade for music and music videos!
Wow a great lost song from RP! Love this guy and sure miss him. Is that Steve Stevens on guitar?
