If you have such an interest in Japan - evident by your username and comment - you would know that when the United States basically forced Japan into trade with the West during the 1800's, Japan was still somewhat primitive when it came to science.

Of course, by the 1900's Japan was a force that dominanted China. The current Japan is prominent among the technology and production countries.

I think sometimes Chosing Not to do whatever one is commanded to do, whenever commanded to it is as important a part of intelegence as understanding the commands. Impulsive reaction doesn't require thought.

@TheNoiseySpectator i wouldn't consider bein impulsive smart. if a mother tells her kid not to run in the street, n it decides to ignore her command, do it anyway n get hit by a car...yeah, not smart. i just found it incredibly awesome that this cat can do the same thing as a dog can, and can understand human commands/words and perform an action. cats have a pretty bad reputation for not listening, but just because they don't listen doesn't mean they're stupid. this is proof.

@switchbladekittykat There are some kinds of cats that could learn this quite easily. My cat a "Turkish Van" for example learned this all by himself (very common). They understand who trows the ball.

He only does it when he feels like it though :)
