I went thru my gold wing ceremony in march 1992 with 1st airdelivery on camp pendleton, this was filmed by 2nd airdelivery in lejuene, there is a reason for this, unless your gold wing you dont need to know what it is! As former infantry Marine, I've been through worse shit than this. So for that blue falcon to call them out is treason, and that news reporter is dumb to say what's right and wrong in the corps. If you take away traditions in the corps, you take away what makes Marines a Marine. It's those traditions that keep us running, builds camaraderie and motivated, even though it may seem harsh to people. No person, especially a civilian, is allowed to speak for the Marine Corps if you've never served.
