I did viewed the whole show on TV and thought it was the most special, wonderful and tender vision of dancing that I had ever seen...and I can see two things inthe comments...first the prejudice against the persons that are overweighted (they can dance outstandingly and is a disrespect to talk of them as a possible melting oack of fat). I saw the documentary and the actual dancers had to be cooled down..it is really hard to dance with those costumes.
Why do they think we would dance like that? I don't waddle around like that... and I can definitely do a lot more than walk back and forth. I find this offensive!
Beautiful joyful funny choreography! 10 years ago I made studies of this ballet and made drawings of this couple. This year the ballet inspired me again to make this love duet in bronze sculptures.
