Before I saw this video, I was considering going as either Ziggy or Jareth for next Halloween. I don't know which "persona" I'm going to be, but after watching this video, I'm not going to let that holiday pass without dressing up as the Thin White Duke himself. I loved your commentary on "Being Bowie", how you put socks in your pants to recreate his package, and the Young Americans album cover winking at you (very cute!). This whole video put a huge grin on my face :D.

Actually, David borrowed a lot of personalities from a lot of other people. That was his thing. He, quote, 'collected personalities'. At one point, there was an interview where he had a cane and he said that he saw someone on the set during a recording with one and thought 'Man, that looks cool. I want one!' and so he got one. David is perhaps the greatest collage of mish-mashed personas to ever live.
