  • Hello thanks for the video How much are your molds?

  • @1019buster A ton of folks have asked me that, so I probably should have setup shop. But we are just hobbyist and not a business. I just make these for us.

  • Hi Billie,

Beautiful swirls! Pretty colors. I've just started soaping and trying to figure out the best molds for my style. Does your husband make wood molds like yours to sell? If so, how much. We have a cabinet shop but like the cobbler's kids going barefoot, I still have no molds from dear hubby LOL. Thanks!

  • @agsoaps We have had a lot of folks ask us about this. However, we are just in this for fun and are not a business. Sorry, but we are just not wiling to make that kind of commitment.

  • They look nice, thank you for shaing your video.

  • @SheilaDang52 - Thank you Sheila.

  • Where did you buy your wooden mold?

  • @vvn33 I make our wooden molds and dividers in my make shift shop in the garage. ;-)

  • Looks lovely! x

  • @BeautifulBubblesSoap Thank you. ;-)

  • Billie, is the water you use for the color blend out of your water you measured for the lye or is it in addition to that water?

  • @violetjaynes Billie says it's additional to the lye and water, but it is such a small amount (maybe a couple teaspoons) it does not really impact the batch.

  • Thank you Billie. I really enjoy your videos and I learn a lot from you.

  • Thank you Billie (and your husband too). I really enjoy your videos. You are very thorough and pleasant and I really learn alot from you. Thanks

  • @everyonefloats Thanks for the nice comment.

  • Hello Billie !

Do you sell those molds ? Could I buy one from you ?

  • @Djinn0fire We have had many people ask us about this. However, we are just in this for fun and not a business. Maybe I should consider it, but have not been wiling to make that kind of commitment yet.

  • very nice! where do you get the mold and dividers?

  • @1965blaze Thanks. I make the molds and dividers in my make shift shop in the garage. ;-)

  • @cwayneuc would you mind telling me the dimensions of the wood and thickness so maybe i could try and attempt to make one for myself? im a new soaper and would like a mold like this to use

    thanks so much

    ~Blessings~

    Blaze :)

  • very nice!

  • Thanks, Billie. I'm a bit of a newby to cold process soap making and enjoy looking at the videos on utube to learn more. I've noticed that American women are generous with their information and am very grateful.

  • Thanks for the comments. We have several wonderful friends from "down under", that are very talented and generous as well. This is Billie and my simple way to "pay it forward". Plus we are not in business, and not worried about giving up secrets. We just want to help grow the craft. Glad you liked it.

  • This is great! Your soaps are beautiful! Would you share the directions for how the dividers were made?

    Thanks!

  • @gruenesoapworks Thanks for the comments. I have had many request to make and sell my molds, but have not made any commitments yet.

  • Love your videos. Do you sell your molds Wayne? I would be very interested in some if you do.

  • Your soap looks real beautiful!!!

  • @kazza626 Thank you so much for the nice comment..

  • Where do you get a box that comes with the dividers? That was too cool.

  • I make our soap molds and dividers myself. We have had many request to sell these, but have not made any commitment yet.

    Billie & Wayne

  • @Seedcovers The mold and dividers are homemade, just like the soap. ;-))

  • Super nice! Love it! (ashleyr) ;)

  • Hey hey Ashley. Thank you for the comment. You know we're just a couple of goofballs with lye ;-))

    Billie & Wayne

  • This room temprature process looks so much easier. I'm thinking I just maybe able to do this. How long do you cure the soap for after you remove the bars from the mold?

  • We typically let them cure for 5 weeks.

    Billie & Wayne

  • Well this definitely makes the idea of making my own soap much more appealing. Seems like my sensitive skin is just getting worse. Someone suggested I make my own soap. I'm just too chicken, but this process looks so easy. I'm going to give it a go. Thanks for making these videos.

  • Great Swirls! Thanks for all your instructions on how to do things. Very helpful!

  • Thank you for the feedback.

  • Hey Billie, I'm a new soaper and I've been watching your videos....wow, what a great inspriation and teacher. I've learned so much from "studying" your videos. Hope you had a great bringing in of the New Year!!

  • Thank you from Billie for your comment. We (Billie & Wayne) appreciate the feedback.

  • I love your videos! You guys rock. Billie C from NW Soapers.

  • Thanks Billie C. - You rock too.

  • One of my personal favorite scent combinations for we men (which I call "Pan's Obsession") is lavender EO and oakmoss EO. YUMMY!

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • Where do you sell your soaps? Do you have a website? Lovely!!

  • We thank you for the question, but Billie and I are just hobbyist and not a business. We have talked about it, but not ready for that kind of full time commitment.

  • Thank you so much for the video...your soaps look amazing! Thanks for the good information!

  • Thanks for your kinds words.

  • That's beautiful!! Great job!

  • Thank you.

  • The soap is beautiful, but if you are working with a lye solution, you should have on gloves and protective eye gear at the least!

  • Yes, you are correct about the protection.

  • I love all of you videos. What temp do you mix you lye and oils?

  • This is all RTCP (Room Temp Cold Process).

  • Great job!!

  • Wow wht beautiful finished bars!

  • That was very informative! Fabulous video!

  • Another great one, Billie!!! :)

    (LJA from the forums)
