Are you half black? You look like you can easily pass for a SEA(south east asian). I think you're extremely pretty because you're black, I know i've seen some indonesean or malaysian(not sure) and they look just like you except with lighter skin color. But I think your darker skin make you look hotter...(just my opinion)

thanks for the info! i actually love to read! so if i can get hiragana and katakana down, im pretty sure i'll be on my way! ^^

but i gotta find some way to get my folks to pay for the japanese classes, and over here, they are like $500 for just 6 weeks :/

then again, they provide you with everything you need, and even set up times for class, based on your availability (like school and work). i just think it'd be much less of a burden if most H.S's offered japanese, instead of just mandarin...

I actually got these books a LONG time ago and my mom got them, so idk but im pretty sure that they sell other cute ones, since its more catering to children :D you canf ind one at a local book stores in Japan :)

Reading is not so difficult as you would think. And once you have learned it will hasten your learning of other subject matter.

thanks for the vid. ive been teaching myself japanese whenever i can find spare time. ive learnt how to have basic convos...with a 12 yr old lol. but i do think you need to have a teacher because you wont learn the pronaunciations correctly
