That high temp paint is a waste of time Jet hot is the only way to go. And your using the wrong paint for your plastic parts its going to chip easy and look like shit with the high and low spots spray cans from the store is not a professional job. you need a some professional spray guns and a paint Booth and some baking lights then look out

I use Binks guns if I need to to Production work. Unfortunately, this job is so small, spray cans will just have to do. I will look into that Jet Hot, never heard of it before. @myclub3a No, I'm 100% certain this guy knows what he's doing. I have actually used VHT flame-proof on a 150CC Elite exhaust, and it never burned off!

Cheap? Wal-Mart? This stuff isn't cheap, and I sure as hell didn't buy it from Wal-Mart. I'm telling you from personal experience that this stuff actually works, so either you're just being a troll, or you sincerely need to lay off the sauce. VHT is a reputable product made by Dupli-Color. I know many professionals who use this stuff to paint headers, and other high-temp surfaces. I used their caliper paint once, and it still looked like new 60,000 miles and two brake jobs later.
